Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by conducting thorough audits and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.

·  Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements
·  Verify and monitor all hotel reports and night audit reports
·  Reconcile credit card commissions and food and beverage point of sale systems
·  Monitor front office rebates and review F&B voids for proper authorization
·  Prepare daily operational packages for management review
·  Assist with month-end closing and analysis of bank accounts
·  Prepare month-end income journal entries according to company policies
·  Report any discrepancies or issues to the Audit Supervisor or Accountant
·  Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
·  Assist in conducting surprise float counts and other accounting tasks as required
·  Stay updated on local financial regulations and standards in Dubai, UAE

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
·  Proficiency in financial management software, including Sun System, Opera, Micros, and Vision
·  Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
·  In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting standards
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills
·  Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various departments and stakeholders
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
·  Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in financial practices
·  Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards in Dubai, UAE
·  Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
·  Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
