Job Description
Housekeeping Training Manager
Our Housekeeping Training Manager is responsible for the learning and development of the largest department in the hotel. Over see all recruitment and training within the Housekeeping department, keeping our colleagues engaged, educated and excited about their roles.
Salary Range : $66,000 - $69,000, dependent on experience
Job Duties Include:
· Conduct regular inspections of all guest rooms
· Oversee and manage the learning and development for all Housekeeping colleagues in the hotel.
· Manage the hotel’s Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiter) and stay up to date on requisitions and candidate pools
· Conducting interviews to fill open positions, assessing candidate skills and competencies.
· Develop training and development programs and objectives.
Qualifications
· Previous Housekeeping experience is an asset
· Proficient in the use of relevant software an asset (e.g. Microsoft Office, Opera)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
· Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
· Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate colleagues

Additional Information
Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
