Job Description

The Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing health and safety standards within the hotel. This role ensures that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to, providing a safe environment for guests and staff. The Supervisor will conduct regular inspections, manage safety training, and address any safety-related issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations; conduct safety audits and inspections.
·  Training: Develop and deliver safety training; maintain training records.
·  Incident Management: Investigate accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
·  Programs: Implement health and safety programs; oversee safety equipment and procedures.
·  Reporting: Maintain records and ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies.
·  Collaboration: Work with hotel departments to integrate safety standards; provide advice on health and safety matters.
 

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety or related field; certifications like NEBOSH or OSHA preferred.
·  3 - 5 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in hospitality.
·  Knowledge of regulations, strong problem-solving, communication, and training abilities.
