At Fairmont Banff Springs, we are seeking enthusiastic graduates to join our team for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. This is your opportunity to turn classroom learning into hands-on experience in a breathtaking setting.

 Fairmont Banff Springs is now recruiting for the following graduate opportunities: 

·  Housekeeping - Room Attendant
·  Second Cook/First Cook
·  Stewarding Attendant (Kitchen Dishwasher)
·  Golf Operations / Turf Care 
·  Food Porter/Busperson
·  Host
·  Barista
·  Front Office Agent 
·  Reservations Agent 
·  Switchboard Agent

Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience, area of studies and the hotel’s operational requirements.

For this opportunity you must be graduate as of May 2025 from a Hospitality, Tourism, Recreation, Turf Care, Golf Operations or Culinary post graduate program.

Starting Rate:  $16.55 per hour - $18.93 per hour, this is dependent on the position.

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.

Qualifications

Food & Beverage Positions
•    Recent Graduate from a hospitality, tourism or hotel and restaurant management program
•    Must have ProServe certification 
•    Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred 

Culinary Division Positions
•    Recent Graduate from a culinary program
•    Previous experience as a cook an asset 
•    Must be able to lift, carry and pull up to 50lbs
•    Standing and walking throughout shift and exposure to kitchen equipment including large and small ovens, stoves, steam kettles, mixers, sheeter, fryers, rational ovens, steamers, tilt skillets, fridges and freezers as well as blast freezers 

Housekeeping/ Stewarding Division Positions: 
•    Recent Graduate of hospitality, tourism or hotel and restaurant management program
•    Previous similar experience an asset
•    Must be physically fit and able to stand and walk throughout shift and lift, carry and pull up to 50+lbs.

Room Division Positions 
•   Recent Graduate of hospitality, tourism or hotel and restaurant management program 
•    Previous front office/reservations/ hospitality/housekeeping experience preferred  
•    Previous Property Manager (Opera) experience an asset 

Golf Operations / Turf Care Positions:  

•    Recent Graduate of Golf Operations /Turf Care management program 
•    Previous similar experience an asset 
•    Must be physically fit and able to stand and walk throughout shift and lift, carry and pull up to 50+lbs.
