Our 263   room Hotel, merged with Café & Bar 165 is boasting with potential . Located in the heart of Christchurch, our establishment provides easy access to iconic landmarks such as Cathedral Square, Ballantynes department store, and the memorial.

Job Description

As the General Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Your duties will include:

·  Providing strategic leadership to achieve the hotel's financial and operational objectives.
·  Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
·  Fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork among staff members, promoting professional development and empowerment.
·  Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety throughout the property.
·  Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, staff, suppliers, and local authorities.
·  Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
·  Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a Hotel Management/Operational Manager role
·  Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to clearly articulate direction and coach the team.
·  A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards. 
·  Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
·  Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
·  A positive and energetic attitude
·  An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests.
