We are growing and expanding into Greece and looking for a General Manager.
Job Description
What you'll do…
· Lead a 39 room hotel with a potential cluster opportunity for a similar sized second hotel on the island.
· Guide the team to push and develop, ensuring the hotel, our restaurant and bar are embraced and visited by locals, nationals and internationals alike.
· Fully own the commercials of your property and overall performance, from P&L, through to budgets, through to planning and forecasting (and re-forecasting).
· Deliver against the room and restaurant/bar commercial targets and work closely with all teams on ideas, offers and packages to achieve them.
· Drive innovative thinking that delivers on business goals – ensuring the hotel is a hotspot, whether that’s for somewhere to do eat, drink or rest.
· Own the guest journey, ensuring every touch point is on brand and delivering personal and innovative experiences.
· Lead and manage your team through leading by example, creating an environment where your team can be their best self.
Qualifications
What we're looking for...
· You are an experienced, commercially savvy operator who has a track record leading lifestyle or luxury hotels
· Prior experience on the Greek market is desirable but not essential
· You are used to manage vibrant F&B Operations
· You have a hands-on approach and are willing to roll up your sleeves and work side by side with the team.
· You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
· You are a Mentor and able to support and develop a team of people that will be stepping up into their roles.
· Someone who will collaborate really well with all stakeholders
· A conceptual, out-of-the-box thinker, who makes brave choices and inspires others to do the same.
· You want to be part of a team that works hard, support each other and has fun along the way.
