We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office / Operator to join our team in Aqaba, Jordan. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all visitors to our establishment.
· Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
· Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
· Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
· Manage room reservations and assignments
· Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
· Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
· Assist with concierge services, including providing local information and arranging transportation
· Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
· Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
· Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and emails
· Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
· 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk or similar customer service role
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS)
· Excellent multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
· Basic accounting and cash handling skills
· Understanding of hotel operations and guest services
· Professional appearance and positive attitude
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
