Job Description

 

·  Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, assigning tasks and schedules to team members
·  Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain high cleanliness standards
·  Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping attendants to deliver exceptional service
·  Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and efficient use of resources
·  Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and resolve any issues promptly
·  Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
·  Handle guest concerns and feedback, providing timely and effective solutions
·  Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to housekeeping operations
·  Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction through innovative cleaning techniques and processes

Qualifications

·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
·  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
·  Excellent organizational and time management abilities
·  Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and aesthetics
·  Proficient in using housekeeping management systems or software
·  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns effectively
·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
·  In-depth knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and industry best practices
·  Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
·  Ability to train and mentor team members
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs), kneeling, pushing, and pulling
·  Comfortable with occasional use of ladders, stairs, and ramps
·  Fluency in English;
