Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is looking for Food & Beverage Attendants to join this ever thriving and exciting environment! Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.

 

 

 

 

Job Description

·  Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments
·  Efficiently in serving food & beverage for restaurant and conference rooms
·  Breakfast service including buffet, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
·  Assisting guests with questions and menu recommendations
·  Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth running of the service period

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role, with hotel experience an advantage

·  Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to be able to maximise average spend
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
·  Interest in making genuine connections with guests and colleagues
·  Availability to work varied shifts including early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays - minimum of three shifts per week
·  Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling, or willing to obtain
·  Must have working rights in Australia
