Job Description
Food and Beverage Team Member
As a Food and Beverage Team Member, you’ll be integral to our front-of-house operations. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including serving guests, managing reservations, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Whether you’re a Waitress/Waiter, Host/Hostess, or Bartender, your role is crucial in delivering high-quality service and enhancing our guests’ overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:
For Waitstaff (Waitress/Waiter):
· Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
· Take and accurately record food and beverage orders.
· Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
· Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
· Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
For Host/Hostess:
· Welcome and greet guests as they enter the restaurant/bar.
· Manage reservations and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences.
· Provide accurate wait times and manage guest seating efficiently.
· Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor throughout each guest interaction.
· Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
· Coordinate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth service operations.
For Bartender:
· Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
· Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of guests.
· Engage with guests to create a memorable experience and provide recommendations.
· Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
· Restock and replenish bar supplies as needed.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a food and beverage role is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Island and manage multiple tasks.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
· Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
