Job Description
·
Oversee all engineering and maintenance activities to ensure the resort’s infrastructure, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently.

Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure longevity of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency, as well as LQA standards.

Lead, train, and develop the engineering team, ensuring they have the technical skills and knowledge to maintain high operational standards.

Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance, repairs, and energy consumption while maintaining service standards.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and audits.
Qualifications
· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field is preferred.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
· Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance expertise.
· Experience managing budgets, procurement, and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective operations.
· Proficiency in maintenance management systems and reporting tools, ensuring efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
· Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead a diverse technical team.
