Job Description
•Checks cleanliness of lobby and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff in proper and orderly appearance and behaviour.
•Engage Guests in conversation and provide general assistance
•Greets the VIP guests of the hotel. As directed by the Front office Manager, Performs special services for VIP Guest’s.
•Manage, record, and resolve promptly all Guest complaints
•Checks on registration cards of arriving guests and ensures all information should be filled on each cards either by Guest Relation Officers or the guests.
•Coordinate the services and special facilities provided to long-stay Guests
•Understand all credit procedures and ensure they are applied
•Gives the instructions to the Night Reception, during the high occupancy periods, regarding: walk-in guests and release room blocked because of no- shows.
•Co-ordinates with all departments concerned in order to maintain Front Office functions properly.
•Stay current with all hotel products, services, policies and emergency procedures
•Monitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results
•Handle, record and follow through with management issues or emergencies that arise
•Conduct any Health and Safety procedures, if required, including fire walks, food safety investigations, etc.
Qualifications
•Experience in opera program.
•Good personality and charming is important to be the Assistant Manager in the way to represent himself on behalf of hotel management.
•Excellent leadership, problem resolving skill, interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to work under pressure.
•Bachelor degree.
•Minimum of two years of experience in similar position.
•Good command of both written and spoken English & Thai.
•Working knowledge of MS Office.
