Job Description
Here is an overview of some key responsibilities you'll undertake:
· Work with the VP Development and other key UK Directors to develop a close understanding of the Groups’ businesses and their key strategic priorities and positioning.
· Originate, unlock and lead opportunities that support business strategy with the aim of strengthening the company’s UK scale and competitive position, and the continued profitable expansion of the business.
· Develop key relationships internally and externally to exploit deal flow opportunities.
· Due diligence, analysis and presentation of opportunities.
· Take responsibility for execution of transactions and deals including negotiations.
· Work alongside a small team of specialists for lifestyle, luxury & extended stay
· Participate in team meetings in developing and implementing the strategic business plan to grow the company’s presence in the UK&I region;
· Deliver and aspirational but ultimately achievable pace of development for the region;
· Identify and evaluate business growth opportunities including management contracts and franchise agreements;
· Compile and update a list of target markets for development;
· Attend and represent Accor at relevant hospitality events and maintain a high profile within the industry;
· Monitor relevant industry trends and news and their potential impact;
· Effect coordination and communication with the VP Development, the regional Board, and other senior management.
· Work effectively with colleagues to rapidly filter opportunities and establish appropriate prioritisation of projects;
· Establish good relationships with potential owners, partners, lenders and investors;
· Negotiate deal terms with owner leading and follow through to completion.

· Mentor and support the development and growth of other team members.
Qualifications
· The desired candidate will possess a degree or equivalent level qualification and/or experience.
· A highly developed analytical and financial skillset and the individual will be able to demonstrate a successful (quality and quantity) track record of development deals within the hotel sector.
· Superior communication and presentation skills, both oral and written are critical.
· Strong sales and marketing experience.
· Proven track record of nurturing long-term relationships that yield rewards.
· Excellent leadership skills.
