Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader for our Conference & Events / Banquets Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for conference & events, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. As the Conference & Events Team Leader, you will oversee the Conference & Events / Banquet Operations, ensuring that events are executed flawlessly, and guests have a memorable experience. You will lead a team of banquet staff, coordinate with other departments, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

·  Supervise and coordinate all banquet functions, including setup, service, and breakdown.
·  Liaise with clients and event planners to ensure all event requirements are met.
·  Manage banquet inventory, including linens, tableware, and equipment.
·  Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
·  Collaborate with kitchen and catering teams to ensure timely food and beverage service.
·  Monitor event timelines and adapt to any changes or unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications

·  Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Conference & Events outlet.
·  Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
·  Micros knowledge desirable.
·  Must be able to work full time, across a flexible 7-day roster 
·  Ability to work under pressure and handle increase in workload during peak times
·  Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
