Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Concierge to join our team at our luxury resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay on our beautiful tropical island is memorable and hassle-free.

·  Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression of our resort
·  Offer comprehensive information about local attractions, activities, and dining options in Phu Quoc and the surrounding areas
·  Make reservations for restaurants, transportation, and various guest activities
·  Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
·  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of upcoming events and local happenings
·  Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
·  Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency
·  Manage concierge desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organised workspace
·  Assist with luggage and other guest services as needed
·  Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality
·  Promote and upsell resort amenities and services when appropriate
·  Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and preferences

Qualifications

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; fluency in Vietnamese is highly desirable
·  Previous experience in a concierge or front desk role within a high volume luxury hotel or resort environment
·  Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is preferred
·  In-depth knowledge of Phu Quoc Island and its attractions
·  Strong computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software
·  Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
·  Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
·  Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
·  Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
·  Cultural sensitivity and ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
·  Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for exceeding guest expectations
·  Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanour
·  Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when required
