Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled  Chef de Partie  to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love creating memorable dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Delegate duties to kitchen staff.

· 
Lead by example and set a positive tone.

· 
Assist with menu preparation.

· 
Ensure adequate supplies for service.

· 
Communicate menu changes to restaurant team.

· 
Maintain presentation and cost control standards.

· 
Implement and maintain stock control procedures.

· 
Supervise apprentices in food prep.

· 
Ensure mise en place is prepared as required.

· 
Keep work areas clean and tidy.

· 
Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned.

· 
Assist with roster preparation and cost-effective staffing.

· 
Report any issues to the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

·  Experience  as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
·  Passion for delivering exceptional food with attention to detail.
·  Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially under pressure.
·  Ability to work well in a team and support junior staff.
·  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
·  Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (relevant certifications are a plus).
