Job Description
· Lead and supervise banquet team members to ensure smooth event execution, including setup, service, and breakdown.
· Ensure all banquet spaces are properly set according to event orders, hotel standards, and client expectations.
· Coordinate with the kitchen, sales, and other departments to ensure that all guest requirements are met.
· Provide exceptional guest service by responding to guest inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event.
· Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details, service standards, and expectations to the banquet team.
· Monitor the quality and timing of food and beverage service, ensuring it aligns with Mövenpick standards.
· Train, mentor, and motivate banquet team to uphold service standards and deliver a high-quality experience.
· Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
· Handle last-minute changes and requests with professionalism and flexibility.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a banquet or food & beverage supervisory role is required, preferably in a premium hotel or resort setting.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.
· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions.
· Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, event setups, and health and safety regulations.
· Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
· Good communication both Thai and English
