Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beverage Manager to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our food and beverage department reporting to the Director F&B, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving profitability.
· Manage and optimize beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage
· Develop and implement innovative beverage menus that align with current trends and guest preferences
· Train and supervise bar staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge
· Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
· Monitor and control beverage costs to maximize profitability
· Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create cohesive dining experiences
· Handle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related issues promptly and professionally
· Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on beverage performance
· Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new beverage concepts to keep offerings fresh and exciting
· Participate in budgeting and forecasting for the beverage department
· Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
· Proven track record in beverage management and cost control
· Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
· Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
· Proficiency in inventory management and beverage ordering software
· Experience with POS systems and their application in beverage operations
· Solid understanding of food and beverage pairing principles
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
· Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and mixology techniques
· Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety practices
· Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights
· Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
