·  Monitor and supervise service flow in the assigned outlet.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide range of beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

·  Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks
·  Create signature cocktails and recommend drink options to customers
·  Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
·  Take customer orders and process payments accurately
·  Monitor and maintain inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed
·  Verify customers' age and practice responsible alcohol service
·  Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service operations
·  Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
·  Assist in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons

Qualifications

·  Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role, preferably in an upscale establishment
·  Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and current beverage trends
·  Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
·  Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Effective communication skills in English and local languages
·  Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
·  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Food safety certification (equivalent to Food Handlers Card in India)
·  Bartending certification (equivalent to MAST Permit in India) preferred
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
·  Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and presentation

Additional Information

·  Responsible for daily administration, meeting and greeting, dealing with guests’ queries and complaints, and booking rooms. visitors
·  Maintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers’ expectations are consistently exceeded.
·  Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
·  Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
