Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Barista who brings more than just great coffee skills. You’ll need energy, warmth, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

Whether it’s crafting the perfect flat white or connecting with a tired traveller needing comfort in a cup, you’ll play a key role in making guests feel welcome from the first sip to the final goodbye.

What You’ll Be Doing:

·  Creating high-quality espresso coffee and hot beverages
·  Welcoming guests with genuine manaakitanga
·  Serving a diverse range of guests with professionalism, patience and cultural awareness
·  Managing volume efficiently, especially during peak service times or delayed flights
·  Maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies and supporting overall café operations
·  Communicating clearly with both guests and your teammates
·  Jumping in to support the wider Food & Beverage team as needed

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

·  Barista Confidence – You know your way around an espresso machine and thrive under pressure
·  Physical Energy – This is a very active, on-your-feet role - perfect for those who like to move
·  Guest-Focused – You create thoughtful, friendly service moments, even when things get busy
·  Globally Minded – Fluent in English and able to communicate with guests from all over the world, including those for whom English isn’t their first language
·  Team Spirit – You show up with a positive attitude, ready to work with and for your team
·  Reliability & Flexibility – Able to work across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
