Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage service and ensuring that it meets the guests’ expectation by following hygienic food and beverage handling procedures and well as being accountable on a shift basis for the operations of the outlet through effective people skills, support revenue initiatives, maintain cost control and providing ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’.

Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.

Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations.
·
Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
·
Keep tables, service area and pool area clean and tidy.
·
Liaise with customers and Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
·
Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
·
Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and bar equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
Qualifications
·
Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
·
Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
·
Micros knowledge desirable.
·
Experience or formal training in hospitality industry including working experience in a star class hotel or a fast paced restaurant.
