Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is seeking their next Banquets Supervisor to work Part Time (20hrs minimum per week), elevating conferences, meetings and events in our luxury hotel!
Job Description
What You'll Be Doing:
· Lead and inspire the Banquets team to deliver seamless and memorable events, from intimate gatherings to grand galas.
· Oversee event set-up, service, and pack-down to ensure each function runs like clockwork.
· Liaise with the Events, Culinary, and F&B leadership teams to exceed guest expectations and tailor each experience with finesse.
· Maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and cleanliness in all banquet areas.
· Coach, train, and develop team members in Sofitel’s luxury service standards.
· Anticipate guest needs and solve problems on the spot with style and poise.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
· Previous experience in a Banquets or Events leadership role within a hotel or function venue.
· A hands-on leader who thrives during busy service periods and keeps calm under pressure.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for hospitality.
· Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
· A valid RSA and the flexibility to work across weekdays, mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, a minimum of 20hrs per week.
