Job Description
· Responsible for maintaining a strong client relationship and ensure that all convention specifications are communicated to and executed by all departments.
· Oversee Banquet events, manage the team and allocate responsibilities to the team.
· Coordinate and supervise the execution of all banquet conventions to ensure clients' specifications are adhered to and that the convention runs smoothly and efficiently.
· Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCORHOTELS should be brought to the attention of the Management.
· Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Hyderabad International Convention Centre to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
· Support the company’s philosophy towards employee development, morale and institute programs to ensure the effectiveness and promotion of this philosophy within the department.
· Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.
· Maintain and update corporate database, entering delegate bookings to ensure delegate information/ records are kept up to date and accurate for future events.
· To ensure that the service of food and beverages is courteous and professional.
· Responsible for smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of all Banquet Food & Beverage service functions.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
· Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
· Good communication and customer contact skills
· Service oriented with an eye for details
· Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
· A motivator & self-starter
· Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
· Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
