Job Description
You are the heartbeat of the hotel events!
As a Banquet Cook/Culinary Expert, you perform highly diversified Banquet Kitchen duties to create a a memorable and tasty dining masterpiece for every event attendee that you cook for!
Banquet Cook
What you will be doing:
· Showcasing your unique personality, creativity and skills in any food you cook to create a memorable dining experience with your food!
· Collaborate with your team members in the Banquet kitchen, with banquet staff (managers and servers) and provide support and updates throughout Banquet service.
· Work in a team and sometimes autonomously and be responsible for the management of your work station.
· Prepare breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner as stated on the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
· Execute all Banquet Kitchen tasks, including but not limited to plated dinners, buffet, breaks, and buffet /carving stations.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
· 3 years’ cooking experience with at least 1 year of previous Banquet cook experience in a restaurant with French / American cuisine a la carte or a Banquet facility.
· Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
· Being an early bird, enjoy start working as early as 5am when required, or finishing around 11pm depends on different type of banquets and catering, being available for work on any day of the week
· A positive, can-do attitude and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced, exciting environment while working alongside a diverse group of colleagues
· Skilled in communicating with colleagues and naturally engage with all.
· A desire to learn and grow in a professional Kitchen environment!
