Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is nestled in the serenity of Noosa National Park offering a range of premium accommodation from studio to four bedroom Apartments and Villas. Purpose


As an Apprentice Chef, you will work as part of a large kitchen brigade undergoing structured training gaining practical experience in a professional kitchen under the guidance of experienced chefs.


 


Primary Responsibilities

·  Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Learn proper techniques for handling and cutting various food items
·  Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safe handling of food
·  Seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles
·  Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, equipment and utensils

 


Skills & Experience

·  Passion for cooking, currently pursuing a qualification in commercial cookery with a strong desire to pursue a culinary career
·  Enthusiasm to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
·  Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
·  Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards
·  Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
