Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Executive to join our finance team at ibis Jaipur, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
· Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Accounts Payable department
· Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely manner
· Reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries
· Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
· Perform month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
· Generate and analyze financial reports for management review
· Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
· Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations
· Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
· Monitor and maintain the accuracy of the vendor master file
· Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices in accounts payable management
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field in Finance is preferred
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts payable
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
· Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and team members
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with financial reporting and analysis
· Knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
· Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices
