What you will do

Our mission is to deliver complete Integrated solutions to the Volvo Construction Equipment area with the highest possible level of quality while supporting Volvo CE customers, dealers, and internal consumers globally. We also develop and deliver a portfolio of commercial APIs, a key product in Volvo CE services offering of the future.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team as a Tech Lead, you will guide and support developers and architects in a cross-functional team designing, developing, and supporting commercial digital products built on a microservices architecture and incorporating different integration technologies and platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of software and integration architecture and DevSecOps best practices.

 

Key Responsabilities

•    Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, high-performance integration services, including revenue generating.
•    Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members regarding Retail Integration.
•    Support our Digital Product Managers and Digital Product Owner in prioritization and making decisions based on technology and architecture considerations.
•    Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
•    Lead and coordinate requirement gathering, evaluation, and industrialization of new technologies and platforms, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders of the team.
•    Promote cross-functional collaboration to improve and secure the delivery of our digital products in the ecosystem of services and products that support our delivery.
•    Conduct code reviews, identify technical debt, and drive initiatives to improve code quality at product and platform level.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to our development and support teams.
•    Contribute to the development of technical documentation and standards.

Who are you?

We dream big, and we’re excited to grow together. In this role, you’ll bring a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in NodeJS and Azure microservices within corporate environments.

 

Your expertise in Azure services, including Functions, Kubernetes Service (AKS), API Management, and DevOps, paired with proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, and related frameworks, will be key. You’ll also need a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, integration technologies, and platforms.

 

In addition to your technical skills, strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, as is the capability to manage smaller projects independently and collaborate effectively using Agile methodologies.
