What you will do
Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Supplier selection & qualification;
- Participate supplier evaluation, assess quality system(ISO9001 certification, testing labs, quality control processes);
• Ensure new parts quality;
- Review technical specification with R&D engineer, SDE & suppliers;
- Conduct initial sample inspections according to parts planning;
- Validate parts quality during ramp-up;
• Continuous monitoring supplier performance;
- Track supplier performance metrics (PPM, line stop, rework, warranty claim, etc.);
- Participate supplier in-process audit based on SDE request;
- Initiate Supplier Development Process, responsible related actions in Adjust phase;
- Identify high-risk suppliers/parts, report to quality forums;
• Lead problem solving & corrective actions;
- Manage containment actions (e.g., sorting, recalls) for critical issues;
- Lead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5Why) for defects/non-conformances;
- Drive corrective & preventive actions, and verify effectiveness;
- Lead quality improvement project to improve complicated or complex quality defects in manufacting process;
- Support SDE to improve warranty failure;
• Performs other related tasks as needed;
Who are you?
Required competence:
· Language: Chinese & English are mandatory, others are optional
· Understanding of OMS (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949);
· Technical knowledge of construction equipment (e.g., excavator, wheel loader);
· Technical knowledge of parts manufacturing process (e.g., machining, heat treatment, casting);
· Quality tools (e.g., GD&T, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP);
· Problem solving skills of complicated quality defect (e.g., SIX SIGMA GB/BB);
· Statistical analysis skills (e.g., Minitab, PowerBI);
· Digital competence (e.g., Office365, RPA, ERP, MES);
· Soft skills (e.g., project management, negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, risk management);
