In this role you will work closely with stakeholder teams to orchestrate, steer and oversee the data resilience activities.

We, at Enterprise IT Security, are on a mission to secure the digital journey for the Volvo Group. We work closely together with stakeholders across several Truck Divisions (TDs), Business Areas (BAs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs are responsible for driving the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance, and security. 

 

With Enterprise IT Security, you will be part of Group Digital & IT (a Group Function). A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise IT Security works in close collaboration with both Group Security function and security functions throughout the organization. Together we strive for a best-in-class cyber security posture. 

 

Your closest team will be EITS Data Security and Protection (DSP). We are a function that orchestrates, steers, and oversees the protection of digital assets by helping identify data and implementing control measures throughout the data lifecycle, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Volvo Group data. 

This is how you could make an impact

Your main tasks and responsibilities include: 

·  Conduct data resilience assessments for stakeholders, analyze results, and assist them in identifying appropriate solutions 
·  Investigate various data resilience tools and solutions  
·  Oversee the development and maintenance of robust data backup and recovery systems or processes 
·  Help with regularly testing and updating backup procedures to align with evolving business continuity objectives 
·  Support stakeholders with data resilience requirements and controls 
·  Help in establishing data resilience framework, to centralize the data resilience efforts among all the stakeholders 
·  Develop recovery testing scenarios for the stakeholders 
·  Oversee Technical continuity recovery plans (TCRP), data sanitization processes, data backup and restoration plans of major business areas  

 

To be successful in this job you need to stay on top of the threat and risk landscape, the regulatory environment, our business strategies, emerging technologies and how new technologies and ways of working alter our risk and control posture. You do this by actively seeking information from knowledgeable colleagues and experts within Volvo, but also keep yourself updated on industry news from external sources 

Who are you?

You are a motivated person that contributes both to successful completion of our objectives, as well as to the team spirit of EITS. You are well structured with a drive that makes you complete tasks within given timeframes, and you work well both in a team as well as on your own tasks.   

 

Mandatory qualifications: 

·  Several years of experience within IT/Data domain 
·  Documented experience in data resilience and information/cyber security 
·  Master’s/bachelor’s degree in data security or equivalent experience 
·  Effective communicator verbally and in writing in English 
·  Good insight in general resilience regulations  
·  Possession of, or willingness to learn, relevant certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, etc. 

 

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: 

·  Conducting Third-party data resilience reviews  
·  Thorough understanding of alignment of RTO with incident response  
·  Knowledge of handling data breach incident  
·  Knowledge about data security posture management (DSPM) and DLP  

 

In order to be a successful member of DSP team, you should possess personal attributes to enable acting professionally in accordance with sound principles and be: 

·  Observant, and actively aware of physical surroundings and activities 
·  Tenacious, persistent and focused on achieving objectives 
·  Decisive, and reaches timely conclusions based on logical reasoning and analysis. 
·  Preacher of psychological safety at workplace  
·  Believe that cyber security work is not contractionary to having fun at work! 

 

The role is located in either Gothenburg, Sweden or Wroclaw, Poland and will require you to work a few days at the office each week. If you are applying from another country or are not currently living in the mentioned city, please mention your willingness to relocate in your application.
