Many of today´s societal challenges are expected to be solved by technology development and the Volvo Group (VG) is heavily investing in Research and Development (R&D), in the green transformation of our industry as well as innovation.
Through internal and external collaboration, our Public Partnerships team is instrumental to the VG for driving for maximizing the technology and product synergies in order to accelerate innovation by e.g. capturing opportunities that are available in the global perspective, to leverage public and private partnerships. We are a global team aiming to strengthening the Volvo Group competitiveness.
The team you will join consists of highly engaged people situated around the world having different backgrounds and various perspectives. This makes it a dynamic and exciting place to work.
What will you do?
As a Senior Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing contract-related administrative tasks used for our publicly funded projects as well as supporting the Public Partnerships function in various administrational tasks.
You will ensure a continuous update of the database and take responsibility for further development of the same to make information retrieval possible. You have an advisory role within the Volvo Group informing of rules and requirements when entering and working in these projects. You should be prepared to be involved in reference groups, cross-functional networks and various forums internationally.
This position also involves a close collaboration with our Legal department to ensure the smooth execution in the contractual processes. It includes coordinating reviews of i.e. Letters of Intent, major project agreements, Consortium Agreements and more. Your efforts are essential in maintaining cohesion within the team and ensuring alignment with the current contract management processes.
You will also coordinate the legal review as well as the signing process and provide vital administrative support to the team, helping to keep the group organized and focused on contract-related matters. Additionally, you will engage in a support-assistant capacity, contributing to the global and international perspective of our projects.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in economics or a relevant field or hold a paralegal certificate and possess experience working with external research collaboration projects, including professional interactions with project partners, competitors, authorities and universities.
Proven experience in contract management, particularly in public projects, is preferable. Strong networking capabilities and a high level of comfort in a global, cross-functional environment is required. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is necessary along with a structured, analytical, and holistic mindset.
A proactive and energetic attitude, coupled to the ability of self-driven activities as well as managing multiple tasks simultaneously, will set you apart. We are looking for an individual with a "can do" attitude who thrives in a team environment. Strong communication is essential, as is resilience and responsiveness to changing contexts and taking on new challenges.
