What you will do
Our Volvo Penta business is seeking a Parts and Services Manager to join the dynamic team based in Coomera, Gold Coast. Your focus will be on ensuring volume growth for the Parts and Services area, while strategically directing a small team in areas including parts development, retail sales, technical support and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Overseeing Service and Marine Competency Development activities
· Delivering agreed annual targets in relation to part sales and consolidated GP
· Developing sales and marketing strategies to expand the genuine Volvo Penta Parts and Services
· Driving the development and growth of Parts and Accessories through Service Market operations of the dealer network, in conjunction with dealership management
· Development, submission and follow-up of forecasts, business plans and budgets in relation to Service market sales and marketing activities
· Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and dealer networks to maximise customer satisfaction
· Analysing and presenting a monthly financial report on trends and forecasts for parts, services, warranty, claims and retail development
Your future team
Volvo Penta headquarters is situated at the Gold Coast and provides comprehensive global service and support through an extensive network of more than 100 dealers across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji. Our local offer to maximize convenience includes sales and application engineering, parts availability and customer technical support for both marine and industrial customers.
Reporting to the Head of Volvo Penta Oceania, you will work alongside Marine Sales & Marketing, Business Support and Industrial teams.

· Extensive experience and understanding gained within the value chain of the wholesale and retail industry including service market and retail
· Strong understanding of the transport and logistics industry
· Extensive budget and strategic business planning experience
· Proven ability to set clear targets and drive a team towards achieving set targets
· Strong leadership capability with the ability to bring out the best in our people
· A customer excellence mindset
A business management or technical (mechanical / marine / logistics) qualification would be advantageous
