What you will do

At Volvo Construction Equipment Germany GmbH you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. 

 

In this position you will be the Head of the E&E function for Compact Wheel Loader, accountable for the lifecycle management of the products, from advanced engineering through new product development into the maintenance phase.

You will be a key player in forming and executing the E&E strategy for all Compact products together with your Compact Excavator counterpart. With a passionate team, you will have a great impact to create the operators’ user experience of tomorrow while implementing creative and unique product features. Meeting customers expectations is our ultimate goal.​

·  You lead and develop the E&E Systems team and drive a culture of open and trustful global and cross-functional team collaboration.​
·  You develop and execute the E&E strategy to meet our future ambitions i.e., towards electromobility, connected services and carbon emission reductions.​
·  Your main system responsibilities cover LV/HV electrics, electronic system architectures, software systems and related functional safety solutions. ​
·  You ensure that your system solutions fulfill all Volvo internal functional, quality and safety requirements as well as global laws & regulations.

Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring: 

·  Technical degree (MSc or BSc) in engineering or equivalent, preferred in Electronic/Mechatronic​
·  You bring a solid knowledge in E&E Systems Engineering and solutions​
·  Ideally, you have experience in leading an engineering team and/or engineering projects​
·  Open minded, pro-active, communicative, solution oriented and structured way of working​
·  Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
