Are you ready to join the Engineering Graduate Program?
The Engineering Graduate Program at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is a global 12-month program where you are offered the perfect mix of on-the-job learning and diverse training modules. You will get the chance to use and develop your technical and creative engineering skills, while gaining valuable experience working with real products on real business challenges. During the year you will engage in activities that will help you grow professionally and personally, developing strong communication and collaboration skills.
Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe, and senior leaders to help you excel. We hope you will learn as much from us as we will from you.
How you will make an impact
Virtual verification and simulation is an expanding field of engineering within the automotive industry. Increasing product complexity with faster development pace calls for new methods and tools to test and verify our products. As a virtual verification and simulation engineer your mission is to develop the cutting edge systems that makes up the backbone of our continuous integration machinery and provides the simulation capabilities we need to meet the future. Luckily you are not alone on this journey, you are accompanied by a great team committed to the same goals, eager to share knowledge and support. We aim to get best out of everyone in the team by allowing you to be yourself, be curious of your ideas and trust you with big responsibilities. We believe that you are
You are a methodical, curious and dedicated engineer with passion for problem solving and learning. You are open-minded and enjoy teamwork while also beeing able to drive development on your own. You are good at networking with other people, enjoy challenges and understand the value of building strong relationships based on trust.
You meet the following requirements:
• Master’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics or Physics)
• Knowledge in Matlab / Simulink/ Python
• Knowledge in vehicle dynamics
• Driver license for passenger car (or higher)
To qualify for the Engineering Graduate Program, you’ve completed a master’s degree prior to the start of the program but not more than 18 months ago. You should not have more than two years' full-time working experience in the field prior to starting. You also need to be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
