What you will do
As an Electronic System Engineer at Volvo Construction Germany GmbH you will contribute to the new development of Compact Wheel Loaders, both BEV and ICE maschines, as well as to their product maintenance activities together with different departments locally and globally.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
· Support the development and product maintenance as an E&E System Leader striving for common solutions
· Ensure the expected quality of the E&E system and subsystems by fulfillment of the applicable specifications and standards with a high focus on functional safety and product risk
· Set up the E&E architecture and pin out allocation
· Creation, analysis and documentation of requirements for the E&E functions from the machine specification in close cooperation with the Product Platform and Aftermarket
· Review of software functions and requirements
· Coordinate the cross-functional team members and their actions to deliver the agreed results
· Communicate with the project teams, internally and externally, as a formal point of contact
Your future team
From the first idea to serial production and beyond, the Electric and Electronic Systems Compact Wheel Loaders department is responsible for the whole E&E design, architecture and strategy. Considering quality, safety and environmental requirements as well as global laws and regulations is a matter of course for us.

Who are you?
In this role you will bring:
· A university degree in electrical or mechatronic engineering
· A high sense of responsibility and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong team orientation and the willingness to share knowledge and continuously develop yourself
· Sound knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Functional Safety
· Extended skills in E&E System Engineering
· Ideally knowledge in SW development and CAN bus communication
· Expertise in E-Mobility and/or construction machinery is an advantage
· Good written and spoken English knowledge
