Together, we will continue to grow and build state-of-the-art technology. You will be part of the Execution functions management team and report directly to VP Execution. 

We search for someone that both can see how we need to change the way we do things, and that truly loves improving operations, to get maximum efficiency.

To make this a success
The Operational Excellence function is newly established as result of an organizational change in during 2024. The Director Operational Excellence will have a profound impact on how the whole electromobility organization performs and delivers by being responsible for setting up the structure and processes for Operational Excellence including but not limited to how operational improvements are steered-in, maintained, applied, easily understood and accessible. 

The key to success is the ability to manage change , balancing and handling multiple and competing priorities within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

You have experience and an interest of leading and managing an Operational Development based on the organization’s needs, goals and strategies, and enjoy working with both strategic and operational tasks with delivery in a matrix organization. You see the value and have the ability to support employees through change and creating sustainable change. You will carry out change analyses (e.g. gap analyses) during change to support improvement of work and development, map and develop processes and routines as well as streamline and improve existing operations for example through education.

Your experience from project management, automotive product development, stakeholder management abilities coupled with your ability to take action, will enable you to successfully lead your team and elevate the Execution Function in Electromobility to the next level.

What to bring
We're looking for someone with experience leading operational improvement initiatives in the complex contexts of the automotive sector.

You bring a mindset of continuous improvements and to leave nothing behind.
•    An ability to demonstrate and explain the needs of operational development to deliver on strategic values and mission.
•    Experience in managing and successfully developing Operational Development.
•    Broad experience of product development processes and tools within the automotive industry.
•    Former experience in a line managerial role preferably within the automotive industry.
•    Demonstrated ability to balance a strategic, holistic end-to-end (E2E) view with operational considerations in a product development environment.
•    Engineering education, preferably an MSc, but other relevant higher educational background can be valuable, or equivalent in experience.
