Dealer Inventory Management Analyst (Greensboro, North Carolina)
Openings available for Dealer Inventory Management Analyst at VOLVO GROUP NORTH AMERICA, LLC in Greensboro, North Carolina:
Secure optimized steering of spare parts for dealers around the globe through an automated inventory concept. Optimize and visualize supply chain process to balance end customer availability of spare parts at dealerships with the total supply chain cost for customers, including Volvo Penta, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment. Simulate and optimize service, inventory, and forecasting parameters to enable cost efficient ways to meet future spare parts demand. Use data to surface and investigate supply chain challenges; create analysis to identify problem root causes and provide solutions in supply chain operation. Develop future DIM capabilities by developing micro services in a cloud native solution in a DevOps team structure. Visualize and tell a story with data that compels stakeholders to understand and take action utilizing PowerBI, Qlikview, and Tableau. Drive continuous improvement of processes.
Who are you?
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience analyzing supply chain data. Also requires 2 years of experience: performing inventory management; and analyzing and troubleshooting code in VBA, Python, Qlikview, and SQL. Requires 1 year of experience: utilizing SQL, Python, Spark, QlikView, or Java for data analysis; and utilizing Agile methodology, Microsoft Azure, or DevOps for software development. Position reports to Greensboro, NC office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $96,349 per year
