What you will do

At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:

 

Join our agile product team focusing on creating business value through digital products. You will also be a part of initiatives with Data Scientists already working connected to the Management Reporting and BI Team. We aim to apply advanced analytics and AI to make better data-driven decisions to improve how we sell and service the Market. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimizaiton and improvement of product development, sales & marketing, and business strategies.

 

Develop custom algorithms to apply to big data. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes. Coordinate with diferente functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. Develop A/B testing frameworks for data driven applications and test model quality. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

·  Highly motivated with passion for data providing reports, developing tools and advanced analytics;
·  Academic degree from a relevant field of studies (Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or a similar quantitative field);
·  Strong ETL skills;
·  Advanced knowledge related to: Cloud Computing (Azure), ADF, ADB, Blob Storage, Web Appps, Python, PySpark;
·  Excellent knowledge related to SQL;
·  Knowledge of unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques;
·  An understanding of statistical techniques and concepts;
·  Familiar with MLOps;
·  Experience with Git, DevOps;
·  Experience in Agile Methodologies;
·  Excellent communication skills in English;
