As part of this strategic transformation, we are seeking a proactive and insightful Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for GTT Digital Operations to help drive our digital ambitions securely and effectively.
About us
Our 100-person team across Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro, and Bangalore, drives digital transformation for GTT, fostering collaboration, synergies, and effectiveness. We are responsible for managing the IT strategy, initiatives and budget, leading the alignment of strategy work including AI, data, and simulation. We foster innovation and performance, promoting an innovative culture while balancing technical, operational, and relational aspects of the business.
What will you do?
As the BISO at GTT, you will be responsible for driving GTT’s information security agenda by aligning risk management and compliance with business goals. You will act as the strategic bridge between business and security, ensuring GTT remains resilient to any changes in the threat landscape. This includes overseeing risk, advising leadership, embedding security in operations, and serving as the single point of contact with Group Security, and for information security activities within GTT.
Core Responsibilities:
· Information Security Risk Management: Effectively identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate security risks (including deploying controls, technologies, and processes to reduce risk to an acceptable level) in alignment with business goals
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain a security roadmap and program while ensuring executive management is informed and engaged. Provide strategic guidance and report to the Executive management to improve the Information security posture for GTT
· Implementation & Integration: Adapt and implement group-level security strategies to fit GTT’s context and embed security into daily operations.
· Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security regulations, report to the Group CISO, and manage audit/compliance needs.
· Education & Awareness: Lead the promotion and facilitation of security awareness and training programs within GTT, on operationalization of policies, directives, guidelines, standards, and baselines. Stay up to date on relevant security regulations, emerging security threats and compliance requirements.
· Collaboration & Incident Response: Act as liaison with Group Security and lead or support incident response and threat intelligence efforts. Collaborate with business functions Group Security, Information Security, and EITS to establish a resilient security framework

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
· A degree in engineering, IT, or cybersecurity, or equivalent experience and several years of professional experience in Cyber Security, IT Security, or Information Security, preferably within Enterprise Information Security.
· Excellent understanding and proven experience in Information Security best practices, process design, and implementation.
· Experience managing external collaborations.
· Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar are preferred
· Experience with relevant standards (e.g., ISO27001) and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) are a merit.
· Leadership experience and familiarity with the manufacturing industry is a plus.
· Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
