Payroll Apprentice
Salary: Up to £21,000 Depending on Experience
Location: Warwick, Hybrid Working (Once the probation period is completed)
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

· Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in routine, ad-hoc, and high-volume tasks

What’s in it for you?
You'll be a vital member of a small close-knit team, shadowing experienced members of the payroll team and reporting directly to the Payroll manager. You will also be working with People Services wider team and renowned brands like Renault, Penta, Volvo Trucks, and Volvo Bus.
Here at Volvo Group our Payroll team are responsible for the end-to-end process, this gives you a great opportunity to see the full scope of the process.
· Support the End-to-End employee lifecycle Payroll.
· Assist in processing both monthly and weekly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payments by inputting and updating employee data within our payroll system.
· Shadow experienced members of the Team and work closely with the Payroll manager
· Manage and verify all variable cash and hours inputs for payroll through manual entry or the Time and Attendance system (SAP), ensuring data accuracy.
· Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and external organisations, providing clear and timely responses.
· Extract and process data from the Time & Attendance system for payroll integration using SAP.
· Support the administration and processing of statutory payments, including SMP, SPP, SAP, SHPP, and SSP, following appropriate guidelines.
· Administer and manage payroll elements under salary sacrifice schemes such as Private Healthcare and Cycle to Work.
