Job Description
The Laboratory Intern is a great way for a student to gain experience in a manufacturing
quality control laboratory. The intern would report directly to the Quality/Laboratory Manager.
The role requires communication with the Plant Operations Manager, Production Scheduler,
and plant Operators. In addition to the tasks listed below, the Laboratory Intern may be asked
to participate in plant troubleshooting and quality investigations.
What your day might look like:
· Analyzing plant samples and shelf-life extension samples
· Managing laboratory consumables
· Maintaining calibrations of lab equipment
· Managing plant retainer samples
Qualifications

· Can work independently
· Is well-organized
· Has strong teamwork & communication skills
· Is able to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced work environment
Bonus Skills
· Wet chemistry experience
· Titration experience
· Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
Requirements
· Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a focus in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Technology
· Enrolled in 200 level or greater chemistry courses
· Able to climb stairs
