Job Description
Role Summary:
The Engineering Specialist – Fabricated Equipment is responsible for Skid engineering, project management, quality manufacturing & on-time delivery of skids and static equipment. Role involves intensive knowledge of package engineering, manufacturing &
testing of skids & fabricated equipment. Candidate should be working with multiple stake holders internally as well as externally with various disciplines of engineering viz., Process, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation to complete the engineering / manufacturing drawings & documents for skids & package equipment. And shall involve in execution & manufacturing at vendor location envisaging necessary measures to be taken for on-time delivery & quality of Skids & package equipment.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
· Deliver Skids & Fabricated equipment by design & engineering of package equipment, product design, define manufacturing processes, project management and manufacturing at various locations.
· Shall have experience with design & engineering of process static equipment, pumps, valves & other package equipment.
· Shall be conversant with reading technical specifications and setting up quality requirements of Products and monitoring vendor quality processes, Shall have knowledge of compliance on codes & standards viz., ASME, ASTM.,
· Shall have thorough knowledge on metal & non-metallic material standards and applications.
· Shall confer with equipment suppliers, Schedule delivery of equipment to meet manufacturing schedule and achieve on-time delivery of skids.
· Shall be able to perform root cause analysis of any incident during engineering & manufacturing processes. Shall be aware of Non-conformity processes.
· Shall be providing timely solutions for any engineering / manufacturing changes arising during execution of skids.
· Shall have knowledge of Manufacturing processes viz., Cutting, grinding techniques, welding processes viz., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW etc.
· Shall have knowledge in testing requirements specified complying with international codes & standards.
· Knowledge in high alloy metallurgy would be an added advantage.
· Hands-on experience in SAP material management & Project Systems
· Hands on experience with Acad, Microsoft office and SAP tools.
· Knowledge in google platform & AWS platform preferred.
Qualifications
B.E / B. Tech – Mechanical.
