POSITION PURPOSE: Manages all activities to ensure the successful delivery of assigned small and medium sized capital infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Works closely with SIB T&P Engineering and Project Management personnel in accomplishing successful project delivery.
Experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical infrastructure projects. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise in electrical systems and the ability to effectively manage resources (internal and external) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Directly reporting to Engineering Manager.
· Provide project leadership for assigned projects.
· High level accountability for Veolia customer relationships.
· Support Veolia Business Development team when needed.
· Support of processes established to streamline standard operations.
· Collaborate with other teams on cross-functional initiatives.
· Supporting project management requests as required by the client or project leadership.
· Training of team members where appropriate.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background
· BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, other Engineering, or a related electrical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training, and/or work experience.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team of internal project-based resources and/or external contractors.
· In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power generation, distribution and control systems.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management or project delivery work
· Experience in power/energy systems preferred.

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions to overcome project challenges.
· Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety practices
· Lead the planning and implementation of electrical infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
· Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
· Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
· Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and objectives.
· Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project delivery according to specifications and quality standards.
· Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders regularly.
· Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and technical specifications.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout project execution.
· Conduct post-project evaluations to assess lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
· Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
· Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheets, Google).
· Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
· High level of professionalism and integrity.
Required Certification / Licenses / Training
· Professional licensing desired but not required.
· Ability to obtain Professional Project Management Professional certification (PMP) required within the first year of employment.
· Industry certifications preferred.
· Valid local state driver’s license required.
