Job Description

The AZ Driver will be responsible for operating equipment related to the position including box trucks, van trailers, vacuum units

Main Responsibilities: 

·  Follow the operations manual for the assigned position
·  Implement Regulation 347 and Transportation of Dangerous Good (TDG) policies as presented
·  Completes all paperwork including manifests, drivers log and any other reports as may be required
·  Complete dispatched task in an efficient and timely manner
·  Communicates to competent persons any abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace or other
·  Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observes all safety procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

·  Grade 12 diploma
·  Must be able to read, write and count
·  Experience on paperwork such as: driver's manifest of disposal loads, time sheets and preparation
·  Clean driving record
·  AZ License
·  Ability to work independently and efficiently
·  Mechanical aptitudes
·  Organized and must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines and under immediate supervision
·  Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
·  Team work oriented
·  Ability to pass a criminal record check and driving test
