The VP Global Talent holds the accountability to develop, manage and drive a global talent strategy to strengthen people, organizational capabilities, and overall organizational performance. This role covers a broad scope of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Leadership Development, Performance and Engagement.

You will further define and develop the value proposition for the Global Talent Center of Expertise and shape the Global Talent roadmap in line with wider business and HR objectives, by building the right team, and leveraging a strong global community of HR and talent professionals.

Talent is critical at Ubisoft and this role will be key in building the next generation of creative and technical talents by combining pragmatic, agile, and impactful programs with innovation.

Responsibilities and Duties

·  Develop a vision and a talent strategy in line with the corporate strategy for the next 5 years, with a focus on bringing value to the organization.
·  Accelerate talent attraction, engagement, and development strategies, with a focus on critical roles, key technical skills, and creative talents. 
·  Shape global frameworks, processes, tools and develop insights to identify current and future organizational talent strengths, gaps, and risks.
·  Work collaboratively with HR leaders in the studios, zones, and business to implement specific programs, initiatives and processes to drive talent. 
·  Continue building the central Talent Management function while creating stronger ties with the studios/zones and other teams; animate a global network to successfully represent and develop Talent Management, Leadership and Learning practices within the organization. 
·  Steer an inclusion-centric, equitable and innovative Talent, Learning and Development strategy to activate and accelerate a culture of safety and belonging. 
·  Work closely with other HR product domains to ensure all talent initiatives are connected and reflected in other processes and tools to ensure a customer-centric and seamless employee and leadership journey. 
·  Act as a trusted partner for the HR function and senior leaders of the organization. 
·  Shape, build and lead your team with empathy, clarity and passion while making people development and team effectiveness one of your key priorities. 

Role Requirements

·  A proven track record of creating and delivering a talent strategy on a global scale.
·  Experience managing HR transformation projects, including cultural transformation.
·  Good command of talent best practices, and an ability to adjust them to the specific Ubisoft context. 
·  Ability to communicate, influence, and navigate through a complex and decentralized business.
·  Driving results through others, bringing people on the journey, and effectively managing global stakeholders including HRDs. 
·  Strategic, forward-thinking, and humble leadership balanced with strong operational capability. 
·  Ability to lead global teams and adapt global strategies to diverse local realities. 
·  A coaching and mentoring approach with a track record in leadership and organization development. 
·  Attuned to how digitalization is impacting business and the HR agenda, experience leveraging technology to curate and deliver high impact experiences. 
·  Experience in a technology-led organization or a creative industry is a plus.
