What your role and responsibilities will be

Ubisoft Chengdu is hiring an Audio Designer. You will be part of the exciting experience of AAA game production by conceptualizing, creating and rendering final in-game sound effects, working closely with animation team and delivering game audio on time.

What you will accomplish

· Work on the creation and implementation of sound effects;

· Work on the implementation of in-game ambiance and the environmental effects;

· Work closely with Gameplay Programmers and Animators to ensure that the audio design supports the game design;

· Verify the quality of the sound integrated into game;

· Maintain asset documentation, sound effects libraries and assist with equipment upkeep.

· Respect budget and performance constraints when carrying out assignments;

What you should be equipped with

· College degree in related field preferred, e.g. sound engineering and so on

· 1-2 years sound design experience with credits of successful project(s)

· Solid skills in audio recording, processing and mixing
· Excellent skills on various DAW and sound editing tools
· Knowledge of at least one current game audio engine (Wwise, FMOD, XACT, etc);

· Good written English communication skills.

· Team player and willingness to learn, motivated and passionate about sound design and implementation


· 与游戏音频相关的专业毕业,例如:声音工程,音乐类等

· 1-2年游戏音频工作经验,独立完成过游戏项目

· 在录音,声音处理以及混音方面有过硬的技术

· 在DAW以及声音编辑工具方面有出色的使用技能

· 流利的英语读写交流技能

What will be considered as a plus

· Voice and Field recording experiences

· Strong gameplay instincts and understanding of modern music

· Knowledgeable in entertainment industry in terms of video games, movies, TV series, music and fashion culture.

· Some understanding on game engine and basic programming skill with C, C++
