Be part of the team bringing The Division Resurgence, an action role-playing game to its full potential. As a QA Tester, your contributions will directly impact the development and create immersive experience for players on both iOS and Android devices. You will be part of maintaining a QA Workflow between several departments, making sure builds are stable before they are delivered for further testing to Quality Control, testing backend features and generally supporting developers with test requests. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality releases, leveraging your technical expertise and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform testing across a wide range of mobile devices, screen sizes, OS versions, and hardware configurations, including regular smoke tests.
· Maintain detailed logs of test execution and communicate progress or blockers clearly.
· Develop & execute test plans, test cases and test strategies (in collaboration with the QA Lead and other stakeholders) and in alignment with project goals and quality standards.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and producers, to identify, document, and track issues throughout the development lifecycle.
· Participate in regular bug reviews, issue prioritizations and ensuring timely resolution.
· Contribute to the overall development strategy by providing insights and recommendations on improving game stability, performance, and functionality from a QA perspective.
Qualifications
Relevant experience, skills and knowledge
· Mobile Game QA Experience is a must. (Android & iOS)
· Extensive experience in quality assurance, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies, bug tracking systems, test case creation and QA best practices.
· Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
· Ability to write clear and concise bug reports using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Hansoft).
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and resolve complex issues.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
· Ability to mentor other QA testers, fostering a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.
· Experience testing monetization flows, push notifications, localization, or LiveOps features.
· Knowledge of Mobile Live Services (Accounts, Player tracking, Multiplayer Features, In-Game Stores, etc.) is desirable.
· Knowledge of SQL Databases & JSON is desirable.
· Knowledge of Mobile Payment Systems and Monetization Systems is desirable.
