Job Description
We're looking for a Project Production Director to define the production methodology and pillars with the support of the Lead Producer. Together with the Core Team, you’ll assess the overall game project direction, planning and scoping, while organizing the development to deliver the game. Reporting to the Lead Producer, you'll be supporting the delivery on time and at quality, managing staffing requirements and allocation and establishing the full project structure and organization
We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.
What You'll Do
· Establish and maintain project structure, staffing, and communication strategy, while ensuring efficient onboarding, documentation, and communication channels.
· Monitor budget, project progress, and burn rate to ensure financial efficiency. Track staffing and resource allocation and measure cost per feature.
· Define production intelligence strategy and maintain reporting processes, also ensuring the monitoring tools are available to track production KPIs and adjust. Develop and maintain project roadmap, sprint schedules, and delivery milestones.
· Coordinate release management and branching strategy with key stakeholders. Define and communicate prioritized scope and deliverables with stakeholders, while regularly assessing and adjusting scope, milestone plans, and re-use strategies.
· Lead, motivate and mentor the production team, overseeing organization, planning, and schedules.
· Manage local QC team, ensuring testing requirements and high-level test planning.
· Align co-dev studios with production philosophy and routines for seamless collaboration. Conduct assessments and establish a production plan for outsourcing.
· Identify and mitigate production risks through proactive assessments. Maintain and update the risk registry with regular evaluations.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
You are passionate and curious about games and game development. You're analytical and able to solve complex problems and transform them into an action plan with the delivery target in mind. You have great communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you're able to take and give feedback to improve yourself and your team, finding new ways of doing things. You're comfortable holding presentations and are skilled at implementing change, foreseeing obstacles, and crafting solutions to overcome them.
Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
· Experience through 1 or more full cycle game development
· Extensive experience in Project Management and team management
· In-depth knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies
· A degree in Project Management, Computer science (or other relevant training)
· Experience from working in/supporting a data-driven environment
