As Lead VFX Artist, you'll lead the creation of high-quality visual effects in collaboration with the game's creative direction.
Your tasks:
· Create environment and gameplay effects (VFX textures, animations, shaders, material creation), compatible with real time constraints,
· Supervise the quality of the team's work and set standards of excellence,
· Take charge of team management and ensure team cohesion,
· Identify and implement workflow and pipeline best practices for VFX team members,
· Create, communicate and keep documentation up to date,
· In collaboration with the technical teams, develop optimized VFX solutions to achieve the highest level of quality within the limits of the platform and the project.
· You have experience in dynamics, modeling, lighting and image processing, ideally on AAA or AA productions,
· You're comfortable with the idea of managing a VFX team in a realistic DA environment,
· You have in-depth knowledge of game engine particle editors and tools, texture and material creation, and 3D DCC (Houdini, 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, etc.),
· Autonomous and organized, you have the experience to provide time estimates for VFX deliverables, participating in the project's visual effects planning,
· You are interested in discovering and learning new software,
· You're comfortable working as part of a team, and also with the idea of working independently,
· Your English will enable you to work in an international environment.
