Job Description
As a Junior UX Requirements Specialist you will operate across multiple gaming platforms, support production teams in resolving bugs, and play a key role in implementing user experience-related features.
Please note, that position is office-based in Kyiv.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
· Execute epilepsy, sound, and input lag tests, using dedicated software and hardware, and verify that all Ubisoft titles are compliant with the guidelines;
· Operate multiple platforms (PC, Luna, X1, PS4, XsX, PS5, NX);
· Support production teams in fixing bugs and implementing UXR related features of the game;
· Investigate, reproduce, report and track UXR issues on the projects
· Manage projects following established team actions and processes (planning and coordinating tests, raising project risks, ensuring proper test coverage);
· Work closely with the team and different project stakeholders (production, QC etc.) providing them with relevant feedback on the project status and quality, providing visibility, and obtaining required information;
· Create various documentation and reports based on the project needs.
Job requirements:
· Strong motivation to work and develop in the video game industry;
· Upper intermediate level of English or higher (spoken and written);
· Good knowledge and understanding of testing theory
· Strong interest in, and genuine passion for video games
· Solid knowledge of PC and console hardware
· Solid understanding of gated project management workflows;
· Experience working with issue and project tracking systems (for example: JIRA);
· Strong communication (ability to develop and sustain a professional network) and problem-solving skills;
· Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills;
· Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player;
· Proactivity and ability to multitask;
· Resourcefulness and ability to handle challenging situations;
· Openness to change and self-improvement;
Would be a plus:
· Hands-on experience with several gaming platforms;
· Experience with multiple projects;
· Experience in coordinating tasks;
· Good troubleshooting skills;
· Involvement in test case creation/adjustment;
· Any sound-related background;
· Any experience with epilepsy tests.
