Job description
 
Future Games of London is a Ubisoft studio that designs, develops and operates free-to-play mobile and digital console games. Founded in September 2009, FGOL create original and unique games such as the Hungry Shark series which has been enjoyed by over half a billion people worldwide.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:    
 
·  Assist the UX designer in the production of sketches, wireframes, prototypes and user flows. 
·  Research and analyse the market to determine the competitive environment. 
·  Help facilitate user testing, A/B testing and surveys. 
·  Analyse research and feedback to gain user insight, and incorporate into new designs. 
·  Work closely with the team including designers, UI artists and developers, to design experiences that meet both business and user needs. 
·  Collaborate on documentation to keep content user-friendly and digestible to all players. 
·  Advocate for UX as a discipline at every stage of game development. 
·  Respond to feedback and iterate where necessary. 
 
    KEY REQUIREMENTS:    
 
·  A degree in a relevant subject and/or clear career progression towards UX Design. 
·  Demonstrated proficiency in creating wireframes and user flows. 
·  Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating user-centred design solutions. 
·  Knowledge of/proficiency in relevant software (eg. Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, Visio etc.) 
·  Passion for resolving user pain points through great design. 
·  A keen eye for detail and highly motivated to complete tasks to a high standard. 
·  Self-starter able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team. 
·  Ability to multitask across multiple projects. 
·  Clear communication and critical thinking skills. 
 
    PLUS    
 
·  1 – 2 years UX experience in a commercial environment. 
·  Understanding of current mobile game trends. 
·  Experience creating interactive prototypes. 
·  Experience of user research and usability testing. 
·  Experience in UX design for games, particularly mobile and free-to-play. 
·  Knowledge of technical restrictions and implementation processes.
